Everton manager Ronald Koeman has said Morgan Schneiderlin will be sidelined for a maximum of 10 days through injury.
Schneiderlin, 27, missed out on Everton's 3-0 loss to Chelsea on Sunday after sustaining a thigh injury in training last Thursday.
Koeman told the club's official website: "It's not really bad. It's not the end of the season for Morgan. Maybe [he will be available for] next week, maybe not -- but it will not take longer than 10 days."
Schneiderlin signed for Everton from Manchester United in January and has since made 12 Premier League appearances, scoring one goal.
Everton, who are currently seventh in the table, have remaining fixtures against Swansea City, Watford and Arsenal.
