Former U.S. U15, U16, and U18 international Juan Pablo Torres has signed with Belgian side Sporting Lokeren, the club has announced.
Torres signed with the Lokeren on his 18th birthday, and was on the bench for last weekend's 4-0 defeat to Club Brugge.

The Lilburn, Georgia native has spent the majority of his youth career with Georgia United, playing mostly as a holding midfielder. He also had training stints with La Liga side Sevilla as well as Schalke 04 of the German Bundesliga.
"It's a great blessing and a great opportunity, " Torres told the club's website.
He later added, "This was a big change for me, it's my first professional team and the level is very high. There's fantastic players on this team."
Torres has made seven appearances for the U.S. U15 national team, four for the U16s, and four for the U18s.
