Fenerbahce have announced that they have reached agreement with Tottenham Hotspur for the loan of striker Vincent Janssen.
Janssen rejected a loan move to Brighton before the English window closed, and he will now move to Turkey before its transfer deadline later on Friday.
The BBC had earlier reported that Fener were in talks with Diego Costa's representatives, but the move for Janssen would suggest any deal for the Chelsea striker is dead.
A statement from the Turkish club read: "Our club, in principle, has agreed with the player himself and his club on the loaning of Dutch national team striker Vincent Janssen from Premier League team Tottenham Hotspur.
"The 23-year-old striker will arrive at Istanbul Ataturk Airport at 12:30 today [Friday, Sept. 8] and negotiations will continue in Istanbul."
Janssen is yet to undergo a medical or discuss personal terms with Fener but the deal is not expected to hit any hitches.
He joined Spurs for £17 million from AZ Alkmaar last summer but he scored just once from open play in the Premier League last season, and he has fallen down the pecking order following the £12m deadline-day signing of Fernando Llorente from Swansea.
The Netherlands international was omitted from Spurs' 21-man Champions League squad this week but on Thursday manager Mauricio Pochettino insisted he had a future at the club, saying: "That is about numbers. But in January we check again to see if we change the names in the squad. But he has a future like other players here."
Janssen, 23, will link-up with another Spurs flop with Roberto Soldado at Fener, as well as former Arsenal striker Robin van Persie.
