Real Valladolid earned promotion to the top flight in La Liga after drawing with Numancia 1-1 on Saturday to win their playoff final 4-1 on aggregate.
Numancia, facing a three-goal deficit from their home defeat in the first leg, finally got on the board when Manuel del Moral scored in the 87th minute.
But Jaime Mata levelled the second leg match in stoppage time and Valladolid celebrated their return to the Primera Division for the first time since the 2013-14 season.
They will join Segunda Division champions Rayo Vallecano and runners-up Huesca in the top flight next season.
