Leicester City are on the verge of signing Monaco winger Rachid Ghezzal, sources close to the club have told ESPN FC.
A number of Premier League clubs, including Watford and Southampton, have been chasing Ghezzal this summer, but Leicester have moved to agree a deal with Monaco.
Monaco granted the 26-year-old permission to travel to England for talks, and he was undergoing a medical at the King Power Stadium on Friday.
Ghezzal only joined Monaco from Lyon last summer on a free transfer after failing to agree a new deal with Lyon.
Leicester boss Claude Puel is a big admirer of Ghezzal, having worked with him during his time in charge of Lyon.
Ghezzal will help fill the void left by fellow Algerian Riyad Mahrez, following his departure from Leicester to Manchester City earlier this summer.
