Socceroos legend Harry Kewell's recent good run in charge of Oldham Athletic hasn't gone unnoticed with the Australian named League Two manager of the week.
After a slow start with the English fourth-tier outfit, Kewell is starting to make inroads and build momentum with the Latics, with former Sydney FC and Adelaide United striker George Blackwood among the star performers.

Blackwood was on target in last weekend's 2-1 win over Exeter City, which lifted Oldham to 17th on the ladder and earned Kewell recognition as manager of the division's team of the week.

Taking over at Oldham was seen as a career gamble for the 42-year-old, who had been out of work since an unsuccessful 14-game stint in charge of Notts County in 2018.
Kewell was Oldham's fifth manager in 12 months when he was appointed in August and the club took six matches to pick up their first win of the 2020-21 season.
The former Leeds United and Liverpool star also had a period in isolation in October after testing positive to COVID-19.
Since that period, however, Oldham have won three of their past six matches in the league and will be eager to claim another victory when they travel to 18th-placed Barrow on Tuesday.
