Yes, it's a boring pick, but if the object of this exercise is to choose who's going to lift the U.S. Open trophy on the 18th green at Pinehurst No. 2 on Sunday, I'm going with Scottie (again). He's on another level when it comes to ballstriking and avoiding big misses. His creativity around the greens will come in handy. There's no reason not to pick him. In fact, if I had to choose between taking Scheffler or the other 155 players in the field -- all of them -- I'd still go with Scottie.
