UFC Lightweight champion Conor McGregor took time out of his training regime to treat family and friends to a private event at the Funderland amusement park in Dublin, Ireland.
McGregor, who created 'Mac Land' for his son's christening in October 2017, rented out the park on Monday for his nearest and dearest, including his son, girlfriend and training partner, Ciaran Maher.
McGregor posted pictures on social media, and took time to greet Maher, whose son he met during a low-key visit to Our Lady's Children's hospital in Dublin, where he was being treated in the cardiology department.
McGregor has not fought in UFC since defeating Eddie Alvarez in November 2016 but President Dana White told ESPN that anyone who suggested he should be stripped of his belt was "a Conor hater."
While he didn't know when McGregor would return to the octagon he remained hopeful of a 2018 comeback with the likes of Khabib Nurmagomedov, Tony Ferguson and Nate Diaz vying to fight him.
