Four teams remain in the WNBA playoffs after an entertaining first round. The new playoff format provided a hint of drama, with the Chicago Sky and Connecticut Sun getting pushed to three games in their respective series. The Las Vegas Aces and Seattle Storm swept their opponents in two games to advance to the next round.
In addition, the pregame runway during the first round was home to several distinctive looks. Players donned stunning jackets, throwback jerseys and a variety of notable fashion brands. The semifinal matchups are primed for more exciting action on the court and sensational outfit combinations off it.
Sky guard Kahleah Copper and Sun guard DiJonai Carrington shouldn't be overlooked as a matchup to watch. Both have shown off their style during the year and are valued contributors to their squads. Seeing which player wins the basketball battle and the style competition will be something to monitor in the Chicago-Connecticut series.
