No. 11 UConn Huskies women's basketball game at Georgetown postponed due to COVID-19 issues

The No. 11 UConn women's basketball team had a third consecutive game postponed Friday.

The Huskies' contest Wednesday at Georgetown is off because of COVID-19 issues within the UConn program.

UConn's games this week vs. Marquette (Wednesday) and at DePaul (Friday) were previously postponed because of COVID-19 protocols. The Big East will attempt to reschedule the postponed games.

UConn has not played since a 69-64 loss to Louisville on Dec. 19.

Now, the Huskies' next scheduled game is at Villanova on Jan. 7.

UConn (6-3) has played just one Big East game thus far, beating Seton Hall on Dec. 3.
