Jon Huber, known through his professional wrestling career with All Elite Wrestling and WWE as Brodie Lee and Luke Harper, respectively, died at the age of 41, according to a press release sent out by All Elite Wrestling on Saturday.
Over the course of an 18-year career in the industry, Huber built a reputation as not only one of the most dynamic "big-man" wrestlers at a billed 6-foot-5 and 275 pounds, but also one of the most universally respected individuals in a variety of locker rooms.
His peers in the wrestling world put out messages of remembrance upon hearing the news of his death.
I'm devastated by the loss of Jon Huber, known to fans as Mr. Brodie Lee, formerly Luke Harper. Jon was a great man. His family came first, his loving wife Amanda & their sons Brodie + Nolan. He loved wrestling & was great at it, he loved you fans. Please keep him in your hearts.

In 15 years, I learned a lot from him. But the most important was that it's possible to make pro wrestling a career and also make being a husband and a dad the most important career.

My heart breaks for his wonderful wife and truly charming kids. Just like him. #RIPBrodieLee https://t.co/QAJySAZsNJ

He was there when I won my first ever title in Japan along with so many other moments we got to have overseas. We spent a lot of time there with @WWEApollo, Rich Swann and @BASTARDPAC. You don't meet many people as genuinely nice has he is. Love you Brodie. pic.twitter.com/GCOJpBqAc4

This is all a grotesque nightmare on a scale none of us can possibly comprehend, this year has done nothing but take and I think we are all empty, tired and drained. Sleep well my friend, thank you so much for the road trips and the advice through the years. You were golden.

It's hard to explain to people, and I'm not certain he would want me to, that the biggest, scariest man you'll ever see on your television is the kindest soul you'd ever meet. A model of a husband and father, and proof that some people are too good for this earth. ♥️ https://t.co/jm6YKlRNBu
