          What number should Martellus Bennett wear with the Packers? You decide

          New Green Bay Packers tight end Martellus Bennett is getting into the spirit of the only publicly owned franchise in the NFL; he’s letting the people decide what number he will wear this season.

          Bennett said on Twitter that with the Packers being "owned by the people," he thought it was only right that they pick his new number.

          He posted a poll with four choices:

          The No. 88 that he wore last season with the New England Patriots was not among the choices, even though it's expected to become available. Ty Montgomery wore it in 2016 for the Packers, but he’s expected to switch to a traditional running back number for this season after making the full-time move from receiver.

          With his previous NFL teams, Bennett wore No. 80 with the Cowboys, No. 83 with the Bears and No. 85 with the Giants.
