Brandon Coleman apologizes to fans for impersonating Marques Colston

Second-year receiver Brandon Coleman has drawn constant comparisons to fellow big man Marques Colston since he joined the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted rookie last year.

But Coleman apparently felt like he took that comparison too far when he dressed up in Colston’s jersey and helmet while signing autographs for fans after Sunday’s practice at The Greenbrier resort in West Virginia.

Coleman took to Twitter to apologize for the prank on Tuesday:

The best way Coleman can make up for his prank is probably to continue doing his best Colston impersonation on the field. The comparisons between the two have only continued to increase as the 6-foot-6, 225-pounder has gotten off to a great start this summer. After spending most of last season on the practice squad, Coleman is making a realistic run at New Orleans' No. 3 receiver job.
