Aaron Rodgers' new line call: 'New York Bozo'

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- "New York Bozo" is the new "Omaha."

That was Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers' call before a play on their first drive of the game. Running the no-huddle offense, Rodgers often makes play calls at the line of scrimmage like Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, who often uses "Omaha."

Rodgers' call preceded a 4-yard run by Eddie Lacy that helped set up the Packers' first touchdown, a 4-yard pass from Rodgers to tight end Andrew Quarless, who happens to be from New York. But it's unlikely Rodgers was calling his teammate a Bozo.

We'll have to wait until after the game to get an explanation for that one.

Here is a sampling of the reaction on social media.
