Gerald McCoy, defensive tackle, sixth Pro Bowl: McCoy has 5.0 sacks in 13 games this season, putting him sixth among defensive tackles in the league and fourth in the NFC. He also has 22 quarterback hits for the year, seventh-most in the league and second-most among defensive tackles. His 12 tackles for a loss also rank second among defensive tackles. SNUBS

Lavonte David, outside linebacker: David was named a second alternate. In 11 games this season, David has five forced fumbles, second-most in the league, and his five fumble recoveries are the most in the league. In fact, David's five fumble recoveries are tied with J.J. Watt and Justin Tuck for most among any player in a single season in the past 10 years.

Cameron Brate, tight end: Brate was named a third alternate. In 15 games last season, Brate tied for the most touchdowns for a tight end with eight. This season, he has six, tied for sixth in the league and tied for fourth-most in the NFC. His 541 receiving yards are also fourth in the NFC.

Kwon Alexander, inside linebacker: Alexander also was named a third alternate. Alexander led the NFL with 108 solo tackles last season. Although he hasn't had quite the same season this year and has missed some games due to injury, Alexander still has had 78 combined tackles, seventh in the NFC among middle linebackers.

Brent Grimes, cornerback: A four-time Pro Bowler, Grimes has three interceptions in 11 games, tied for fifth among cornerbacks in the NFC. Grimes also has had six pass breakups this season.
