Clemson linebacker James Skalski left Saturday's double-overtime loss to NC State in the first half with an apparent shoulder injury and did not return.
Skalski got hurt when he made a tackle, but after a brief stay on the sideline reentered the game. He exited again with his right arm hanging at his side. The emotional leader of the defense, Skalski opted to return for his sixth season.
Entering the game, he led the Tigers with 27 tackles and six quarterback pressures.
Clemson defensive end Bryan Bresee also left the game with an apparent knee issue while freshman running back Will Shipley left the game late after what appeared to be a left leg injury.
Coach Dabo Swinney didn't have an update on the severity of their injuries after the game.
