Gets into a bit of a tangle, though, and fails to get into the sort of position she would have liked. The ball pin-balls around and then crashes into the stumps, bringing an end to Voll's stay. 13.6 goes straight up, and Amelia Kerr takes the catch! Stop the press, folks, New Zealand have held onto a catch! Given plenty of air on a fullish length on middle and leg. Litchfield has a huge mow across the line and the ball lobs up rather tamely. Kerr calls for it and does just enough to hold on. That nearly popped out too, but the important bit is that it didn't. NZ finally have their second, and Litchfield departs after a handy cameo! 118/2

18.1 miscued, and taken eventually by Mair! Cutter on a length wide outside off. Sutherland tries to drag it into the on side and cuts across it too much. The ball swirls and swirls in the air. Mair calls for it early and snaffles up the chance, almost one-handed above her head in the end. Either way, that is another wicket for NZ, and another catch that has been taken! 154/4

0.5 Schutt breaks through, and Bates has to go! Shortish, slanting into leg stump. Bates wants to swipe it into the stands but does not get the elevation she is after. Arrows it straight to deep mid wicket, and Wareham does the rest. That is wicket number 150 in women's T20Is for Schutt, and she is the first woman to hit that mark! A stellar achievement! 9/1

2.3 miscue, and an easy grab for Harris! Schutt has another! Hard length, targeting the stumps. Plimmer looks to heave it away but the ball skids on and gets big on her. Skews off the leading edge and the ball spoons up for Harris at backward point. NZ under the pump early! 16/2

18.6 high up in the air, but Wareham is not going to drop that - not in a million years! Wareham at it again, Sutherland at it again, and Australia at it again! Takes all the pace off and hangs it up on a length outside off, asking Kerr to fetch it. She swings at it with all her might but the lack of pace is too hard to fight against. Picks out Wareham to perfection, and Australia tighten their grip on this contest further! 161/8

4.6 James' fun on debut is over! Sutherland badgers that hard/shortish length, and this time, follows the batter. James swings at it because, well, why not. Does not have as much room, though, and skies it. Wareham settles under the high ball at square leg and makes no mistake. NZ three down inside the powerplay! 40/3

8.1 Wareham gets the better of Devine, and her pain-staking stay comes to an end! Floated up generously outside off. Devine tries to fetch the slog-sweep but she is hitting to a long boundary at cow corner. Perry tracks it all the way, despite looking directly into the sun, and takes the catch quite comfortably. NZ's chase is spiraling! 54/4

17.4 Georgia Wareham with a moment of absolute magic in the field, and this game swings again! Off-pace on a length on off. Green is deceived by the lack of pace and heaves it towards deep mid wicket. But oh my, Wareham has come up clutch just when her team needed her too. Green pushes for the second and might have made it, had Wareham not swooped in, picked it up one-handed and produced a direct hit out of nowhere at the batter's end. Stunning, stunning fielding and Australia probably nudge ahead again! 153/5

18.3 another wonderful bit of fielding by Georgia Wareham, and Australia chip away again! Slower ball on a length on the stumps. Jess winds up and swings for the hills. Heaves it towards deep mid wicket but guess who is stationed there. Wareham looks into the sun and still manages to judge the catch to perfection. Lunges forward to pick it up inches off the turf, and NZ have been rocked again! 160/6

18.4 and Inglis is the latest batter out! Sutherland goes back-to-back! Cutter into the track outside off. Sticks in the surface and does not arrive as quickly as Inglis would have hoped. Too early into the flat-batted slap and McGrath completes the easiest of catches at mid off! 160/7
