A few wobbles here and there but Oman complete a rather comfortable win. Oman have in-form players and will be keen to take on Sri Lanka. UAE will need to do some soul searching after their losses before they take on Scotland. Scotland, who through a French cut from Michael Leask, have just beaten Ireland by one wicket in an absolute thriller. For now, it's goodbye from me, Ekanth, on behalf of Abhimanyu and Sudeep. Take care.
Zeeshan Maqsood, Oman captain: The way the boys are playing, we are happy. They are putting so much in all departments, our preparation's been great, players are taking responsibility and that's been the key. The way Aqib and Shoaib batted was key. Later on Ayaan and Nadeem played well. When Shoaib came off and I played a bad shot, there was pressure. But on that track, if you get set bowlers can't get you out. We have games against Sri Lanka and Scotland, we need to play well and carry that confidence forward.
Muhammad Waseem, UAE captain: To be honest, we started well but didn't bowl well in the middle overs. We aimed for 260-270 with the bat, wicket was slow. We were going well but collapsed in the middle, Ayaan finished well. Pitch was the same in the second innings, we had to be more disciplined with the ball and in the field. Our spinners bowled okay but Aayan and Nadeem played well.
Shoaib Khan, POTM: It was a good toss to win. We executed our plans very nicely. The wicket was same in both innings. Our plan was simple: to stay in as long as possible and rotate strike when spinners bowl. I had cramps. My partner Aqib gave me good support, told me to stay in the crease and that'll take us to the win
Shubham: "UAE on the verge of getting eliminated by back to back losses. "
Asif Inzamam : "How is both batsman on 50 but the partnership is 30?" Shoaib had retired hurt earlier
4:35pm: Oman come up trumps after being challenged in a chase that wobbled in the middle overs. Shoaib Khan had to retire hurt due to cramps but Mohammad Nadeem and Ayaan Khan defied UAE with a run-a-ball 76-run partnership. UAE did well in patches in the second innings, Junaid Siddique got wickets with the new ball, Jay Odedra - the pick of the bowlers - made repeated dents in the middle overs, and Ayaan Khan maintained decent control but it wasn't enough.
Just one hit away. Over at the Queens Sports Club, Ireland have finally gotten the eighth wicket against Scotland. 49 now needed off 26, going down to the wire, check it out
