6:26pm A whirlwind innings, but that was the order of the day, given this game has been reduced to 11 overs per side. Babar and Hughes departed early, but Philippe and Henriques got a few away. Edwards and Shaw then took matters into their own hands, with the former finishing unbeaten on 46 off just 21 balls.

The Scorchers might be content with their bowling display. They largely utilized the conditions and the dimensions, even if they ended up conceding 25 off the last two.
