6.57pm Right, that's your lot. It's been a potent display from England, who are the first side into the semi-finals of the Champions Trophy. But it's all still to play for in Group A. Have a read of David Hopps' match report, hoover up our highlights if you are in UK, Australia or Ireland, and tune back in later for Andrew McGlashan and Mel Farrell's reports from the front line. See you tomorrow for South Africa v Pakistan at Edgbaston.

6.51pm Eoin Morgan speaks: "We weren't that pleased at the half-way stage, maybe 30 short of par. But it shows with the batting line-up we've got, upwards of 300 always leaves you in with a shout."

Kane Williamson: "They bat very deep with a lot of power, so restricting them wasn't a bad effort. In all areas, England outplayed us today. Credit to the way they went about their business, especially with the ball in hand. We were trying to get momentum, and increasing that run-rate to chase down the total. It was a tough job, England used the dimensions of the ground well, the wind was a big factor, and the pitch was a bit two-faced."

Morgan says his bowlers learned from the batting innings. "We hit the wicket hard, no value in full with the short straight boundaries. We weren't too greedy, just hit the seam on a good length.

"It feels good to be in the semis but we are not satisfied. We want to fulfil our potential."

Williamson says New Zealand will front up against Bangladesh and "hope that these guys can help us out a bit."

6.50pm Time for some presentations. Jake Ball is Man of the Match for a decisive new-ball spell, and final figures of 2 for 31. "The rain had juiced the pitch up so it was a matter of getting it in the right areas," he says. "You have to be prepared to go round the park now and again, and cherish the days when you come off the field with decent figures." Right areas. He's got a dose of the Montys in his post-match interview, but he certainly did what he said he planned to do.

6.45pm Plunkett wraps up the match with his second four-wicket haul in as many games. He is a vital factor in their line-up, as they march on to Edgbaston on Saturday, and an opportunity to eliminate Australia in the group stages. Quite the incentive for an otherwise dead rubber!

Plunkett to Milne, FOUR, an inside-edge past the keeper. Every little helps

Sadish: "Assuming ENG wins this, ENG-AUS gets washed out, and NZ-BAN gets a result, 2 teams will finish on 3 points. Who gets to semis other than ENG in that case? Thanks." Good question. Fairly sure it is decided on wins first. If it was a tie between three wash-outs (not now possible) it would be highest seed to go through.
