Pollard: Not the ideal sort of position we wanted to be after 17 overs, but we've got to consider the conditions. We lost two set batters there. Me and Tim got the impetus. It wasn't going to be easy and to get 160 was a good job. [Holding Narine for Russell] We wanted someone like Narine to bowl 3-4 overs in the back end, the game got away from us after he was done in the last match. Ali Khan keeps doing it for us every time. We just want to continue, we are peaking at the right time. We are just trying to cover all the bases.
R Powell: I think we just didn't bowl to our plans. We had a plan to make sure they don't hit to the short side and we didn't hit them, we bowled too straight. Should have gone wide. It comes down to execution. If we had executed better in the last 3-4 overs, it wouldn't have been the same. Hopefully overnight the guys can get it right. We'll keep building on our plans. Two games don't make us a bad team. We always plan to get better, win, lose or draw. We'll just sit down Jamaican style, have some food, and have some chats.
Ali Khan is the Player of the Match.
Gokul Ramanan: "I'm still surprised that Tkr didn't start with Ali Khan in the beginning of the tournament. I know Isuru Udana has more variations, but Ali Khan has better pace and nails his yorkers. Just hope he carries this form for the rest of the tournament."
1.25pm Consecutive comprehensive wins against Tallawahs for the Knight Riders. Tallawahs were 15 for 5 batting first on Sunday, and today they threw away a solid bowling performance at the end and lost four wickets inside the powerplay in chase. Seifert and Pollard set it up after the top-order batters had done the hardwork for TKR, and then Ali Khan, coming in for his first game of this edition, had three wickets in his first two overs. There wasn't a semblance of a recovery once the spinners came in and started turning it square. Trinbago Knight Riders go second on the table. Tallawahs go to fifth and their healthy NRR has taken a hit.

Bishop: "After these type of bowling performance by Narine he should straightaway get into WI WCT20 squad. And I believe he gets in."
Temba Middelman: "A year or two ago people were saying Narine is done, as a batter and a bowler. But he seems to be on fire with the ball recently. Wily customer." --- Lost count of how many comebacks and new actions he's had
Jrm: "I just hope kkr use him more up the order, or else he should be in other team from next season. Same for jamaica too."
