Complexity announced several changes to its roster today, ahead of the roster-drop deadline for the upcoming Dota 2 Major.

Three players are leaving the competitive Dota squad: Simon "Handsken" Haag, Linus "Limmp" Blomdin and Rasmus "Chessie" Blomdin. The former two will be pursuing competitive opportunities in the European region but Chessie is stepping down to address ongoing health concerns. He will continue to stream under the Complexity banner during recovery.

This leaves only the brothers Kyle "swindlezz" and Zak "Zfreek" Freedman on the Complexity lineup. According to the organization, the two are already trying out new members and will be announcing a new roster soon.

Complexity's 2016 lineup was built to compete with the best, both in its own region and against international foes. These five managed to surprise many throughout the early and middle part of the year. A fifth/sixth finish at Shanghai and a fourth place at Epicenter had the team looking strong, but the Manila Major was a stumbling block. Coming into TI6 through the Wild Card qualifiers, Complexity failed to qualify for the tournament after an 0-2 loss to SEA wild card Execration.
