After five months of being on the sidelines, Ninjas in Pyjamas Counter-Strike: Global Offensive rifler Jacob "pyth" Mourujärvi announced today that he has been cleared to return and compete. Pyth will return to the team's starting lineup, taking up his previous spot, which was filled by Mikail "Maikelele" Bill and Joakim "disco doplan" Gidetun.

"I got more nervous from watching the matches at home than playing them because you get a different view of the game," pyth said in a press release. "Sometimes when they lost I wish I could do something about it. It feels really good to be back again with the boys."

Pyth was initially injured in August, ahead of ESL Pro League Season 4. Since then, the team has used disco doplan and Maikelele as stand-ins. With Maikelele, the team took third/fourth at the recent ESL Pro League Season 4 finals after a semifinals loss to the event's runner-up, SK Gaming. It also made it out of its group at ELeague, taking second to Virtus.Pro, on Nov. 5.

Pyth's first match in the lineup will be Tuesday Nov. 8 in Twitch and FACEIT's Esports Championship Series online versus Team Dignitas. Ninjas in Pyjamas is currently last in that league after falling to Fnatic in the first week of competition.

The team's first offline event with pyth back in the lineup will be Intel Extreme Masters Oakland, which will take place at the Golden State Warriors' Oracle Arena in Oakland, CA on Nov. 16-20. Following that, the team will compete in the offline qualifier for the ELeague major in Atlanta on Dec. 15-18.
