Echo Fox's Counter-Strike: Global Offensive squad will no longer be a part of ESL Pro League Season 5 after failing to provide league officials with a team lineup by deadline.

According to a ruling issued on the ESL site, the Echo Fox organization and ESL have been in discussion for the past few weeks about the team's roster for the upcoming league. Echo Fox's absence leaves an open slot in both the Pro League and the North American division, which will be open to the next team from relegation.

A decider match between Splyce and Selfless Gaming will be played to determine which of the two teams will take Echo Fox's spot, as there is no clear tiebreaker otherwise. The best-of-three decider match will be played Thursday at 9 p.m. ET.

ESL Pro League Season 5 starts league play next week and will continue to the LAN finals in Dallas, June 3-5.
