EUnited, Enigma6 Group, FaZe Clan, Units and Team Envy each won both their matches Wednesday in Los Angeles to clinch spots in the knockout round at the Call of Duty World League Championship.

The 32-team tournament features eight pools of four teams each, with round-robin pool play taking place Wednesday and Thursday.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the double-elimination knockout stage, which features best-of-five matches from Friday through Sunday's Grand Final. The tournament champion will win $800,000 of the $2 million prize pool, with the runner-up taking home $260,000.

EUnited, who won the CWL finals in Miami last month, beat RBL Esports 3-1 in their first match before sweeping Celtic FC Esports in the second, leaving them alone atop Pool A entering Thursday's match against Elevate. Celtic and Elevate both sit at 1-1. Celtic beat Elevate, who then swept RBL to eliminate them at 0-2.

Enigma6 stormed to the top of Pool B by sweeping Team WaR and beating Fuego Gaming 3-1. WaR and Fuego each beat Gen.G in their other matches, eliminating Gen.G. WaR and Fuego will face each other Thursday for the second playoff spot from the pool.

FaZe and Units each beat Animosity eSports and Mazer Gaming, eliminating the latter two. FaZe beat both by a 3-1 margin while Units beat Mazer 3-2 and swept Animosity. The two 2-0 teams will play Thursday for the top spot in Pool C.

Envy jumped atop Pool D with two 3-2 victories, beating Sage eSports and Team Reciprocity. Sage and Reciprocity are tied at 1-1 after both swept LGND Status, and they'll play each other Thursday for the final Pool D playoff spot.

Teams in pools E-H played just one match apiece and will finish up with two each Thursday. The eight teams who won their opener were Team Singularity (Pool E), UYU (E), 100 Thieves (F), Midnight Esports (F), Evil Geniuses (G), OpTic Gaming (G), Splyce (H) and Heretics (H).
