The Toronto Ultra unveiled the team's branding along with its 10-player roster for the 2020 Call of Duty league season during a launch party Thursday night.
Owned and operated by OverActive Media, Toronto was one of the first five cities awarded a franchise.
The initial 10-man roster consists of Daniel "Loony" Loza, Anthony "Methodz" Zinni, Carson "Brack" Newberry, Alejandro "Lucky" Lopez, Adrian "MeTTalZ" Serrano, Tobias "CleanX" Juul Jonsson, Nicholas "Classic" DiCostanzo, Cameron "Cammy" McKilligan, Ben "Bance" Bance and Mehran "Mayhem" Anjomshoa.
Overactive Media previously ran Splyce, the team Loony played for during Black Ops 4. He, along with Methodz and Classic, are the most veteran players of the group.
"Proud to announce my stay with the @OverActiveMedia family," Loony tweeted. "Will be playing under @TorontoUltra for the CDL 2020 season. Time to bounce back!"
Methodz left OpTic Gaming for FaZe Clan in 2018, but was released that December and has since played for G2 Esports and UYU. Classic was also with UYU at the end of last season after parting with Luminosity in June.
Brack has been an up-and-comer on the scene and most recently played for LG after stints with smaller teams.
Mayhem joined Enigma6 in June following his own stint with UYU, helping Enigma6 to a fourth-place finish at the world championships.
Spanish players MeTTalZ and Lucky both played for Team Heretics, who posted top-eight finishes at CWL Fort Worth, London and Anaheim.
"Toronto will be my new home for 2020, SO hyped and excited to play with this team," Lucky tweeted.
Bance is from England and finished last season with Celtic FC Esports, while Scotland's Cammy played for UNITS.
CleanX is the most recent to turn professional, but has built a strong reputation through his play with the Danish amateur roster of Team Singularity. He helped Singularity to an upset of Team Envy in the first round of the worlds group stages.
