Former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player Shayene "shAy" Victorio was sentenced to 116 years in prison for embezzlement as reported by UOL on Tuesday, where it was published that the former player was a partner with a company that would have allegedly impacted more than 100 customers.
ShAy drew attention for being the current girlfriend of Atletico Goianiense goalkeeper Jean Paulo Fernandes Filho, who was accused of assault by his ex-wife. According to UOL, the Public Ministry of the State of São Paulo (MPSP) heard 118 people who were allegedly impacted by an online retail store run by shAy, as their purchases were never delivered. The crimes would have occurred between 2013 and 2017.

Despite the stipulated length of the sentence, Brazilian law allows a maximum of 30 years in prison. In addition, shAy will be able to appeal the sentence in freedom.
ShAy was a professional player for 11 years in Counter-Strike 1.6 between 2008 and 2011 and CS:GO between 2013 and 2019. She has worked alongside major orgs such as MIBR, ProGaming, paiN, Santos Dexterity and Bootkamp. Vivo Keyd was the last team she represented before retiring from the competitive scene in May 2019.
The player has three GamersClub Women's League titles and has been one of the top players on the women's Counter-Strike scene in the past decade.

The investigation made by the Special Action Group to Combat Organized Crime (GAECO) allegedly broke bank and tax secrets and accessed shAy's email in search of evidence. According to the judge responsible for the conviction, shAy had "illegitimate occurrences in the company of her property."
The former player's lawyer told UOL that the company belonged to her father and her ex-husband, and that a "management problem" caused these problems.
On her official Instagram account, shAy talked about the accusations.
"I am not arrested and I will not be arrested. I am not even wanted like people are saying. It is a lawsuit of a problem that my ex 'husband' had and it harmed me. The time we split up, he took 100% responsibility, " she stated.
Editor's note: shAy was well-known in the CS:GO community for being Fernando "fer" Alvarenga's girlfriend between 2017 and 2019. The MIBR player is not the 'ex-husband' shAy is referring to.
