Watford are in talks with Everton over a possible deal for winger Aaron Lennon, sources close to the Hornets have told ESPN FC.
Everton are willing to listen to offers for Lennon, with the former England international down the pecking order at Goodison Park.
They would prefer to sell Lennon on a permanent basis, but Watford are exploring a loan deal with a view to a permanent move.
Watford boss Marco Silva wants to add width and pace to his side before the close of the transfer window, and Lennon boasts a wealth of Premier League experience.
His arrival would also boost Watford's homegrown quota, with the club having brought in England Under-21 duo Nathaniel Chalobah and Will Hughes.
Lennon joined Everton from Tottenham Hotspur in 2015, initially on loan, making the move permanent in September 2015.
