Premier Soccer League side SuperSport United have confirmed the capture of Botswana international Mogakolodi Ngele from city rivals Mamelodi Sundowns.
Ngele will play for SuperSport on a six-month loan deal until the end of the season having not been registered by Sundowns for the second half of the campaign.
SuperSport are seeking another source of goals having sold star striker Jeremy Brockie to Sundowns.
The 27-year-old Ngele is no stranger to loan deals, having spent last season at Bidvest Wits, helping them lift the league title. Before that, he also had a spell at Platinum Stars after Sundowns had signed him from Dikwena.
Ngele started his career at Santos in his homeland, before joining Township Rollers in the 2011/12 season.
He spent just one campaign there before being brought to the PSL by Stars, helping the club beat Orlando Pirates in the finals of both the 2013 MTN and Telkom Knockout competitions.
Sundowns signed him the following campaign, but he was loaned back to Stars before he made the move to Chloorkop in 2015/16 without having the impact he would have liked.
He was loaned to Wits and, aside from helping the team win the league, he also played as they won the MTN8 title, beating Sundowns in the final.
