Everton have confirmed the date for their historic friendly match against Gor Mahia that will be staged at Goodison Park.
Gor Mahia secured a showdown with the Premier League side after defeating Tanzanian champions Simba SC during the Sportpesa Super Cup that was staged in Nakuru, Kenya.
K'Ogalo won 2-0 in the final played in June 2018 and will now become the first East African side to contest a match in the United Kingdom.
In a statement, Everton have confirmed that they will play Gor on November 6th at Goodison.
"Marco Silva's Everton side will welcome Kenyan SportPesa Premier League champions Gor Mahia FC to Goodison Park on Tuesday November 6," the statement began.
"The historic fixture will kick-off at 7pm and will mark the first occasion an East African club side has contested a match in the UK.
The Toffees also revealed that proceeds from match tickets sale will be donated to charity.
"Tickets are priced at just £5 for adults and £1 for concessions, with all match proceeds being donated to Everton in the Community to enable the Club's official charity to continue its ground-breaking work across Merseyside and around the world," the statement concluded.
In 2017, two teams faced off in Tanzania, with Everton winning 2-1.
