Sources told ESPN's Sergio Dipp that Chivas will not renew his contract upon its expiration on Dec. 31; however, "Chicharito" intends to continue his playing career.
Hernández came through the ranks at Guadalajara joining the club initially in 1997 before he made his senior debut in 2006. He remained at the club until 2010 when he was signed by Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford.
