Should Goal and Mark of the Year include finals? (1:34)

The ESPN Footy Podcast crew say that Isaac Heeny has been robbed of Mark of the Year after his spectacular grab against the Giants, and that such awards should be inclusive of finals. (1:34)

Round 4 of AFLW Season 9 is almost upon us, with some huge clashes on the horizon as clubs continue to jostle for positions in the top eight.

This week marks the beginning of midweek footy, as the AFLW tests out condensed fixturing for season 9, where a team like Brisbane will play on a Wednesday and back it up on the Sunday, a footy fest frenzy some would say!

Round 4 kicks off on Tuesday where Collingwood host the West Coast, can the Pies have been hit with injury but can win this week turn their season around? Or will the Eagles break history and get their third win of the season (the most in their team history?

Gold Coast and Geelong face off at People First Stadium for a lunchtime clash. The Suns have been surprisingly underwhelming despite a strong list changes in the offseason and are playing for their season. Similarly the Cats will also be in the hunt for their first win, despite playing good football Geelong hasn't been able to make it to end of the game to sing the song. Both these teams have played in draw this season, could they play in another this weekend?

On Sunday it is the Battle of the Bridge in Sydney as GWS and Sydney fight it out at Henson Oval. These two teams will do anything to claim the bragging rights. Can the Swans fill the Chloe Molloy sized hole? Can GWS finally play all four quarters of football?

Feeling overwhelmed? Don't worry, we've got your back.

Certainty and why: Don't think twice about the Lions-Bulldogs game. Home team by plenty.

Upset and why: While I'll be tipping the Pies - and the other favourites - think the Eagles are the best chance of an upset this week given the home side's poor form and personnel issues, which only worsen this week with an injury to Britt Bonnici.

Jarryd Thomas

Certainty and why: There's not much going for the Dogs at the moment, and the Lions are coming off a mauling of the Pies. There's no way Brisbane lose this on Wednesday night.

Upset and why: I think the Suns are better than their first round performance and ladder suggest, and they are certainly in the hunt for their first win against a disappointing Cats outfit.
