News: 4 days agoGodwin caught seven of eight targets for 117 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 20-16 win over the Lions.

Spin: Godwin accounted for Baker Mayfield's first seven completions, including a 41-yard touchdown catch. Tampa Bay's passing game slowed down after that, as Mayfield finished with only 185 yards, but the Buccaneers hung on for the win. Godwin has already equaled last season's total of two touchdown catches while racking up exactly 200 receiving yards heading into Week 3 against the Broncos.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Godwin finished last season as fantasy's WR28 and eclipsed 1,000 yards for the third straight season. Baker Mayfield had a solid season and Godwin excelled as a result, but he once again was lacking in the touchdown department and his fantasy upside is impacted by playing in the shadow of Mike Evans. The 28-year-old Godwin still has some life left in his legs, but will have to improve on his 12.3 fantasy points per game if he's going to be more than a WR3 again this season.
