News: 4 days agoPalmer secured two of four targets for 33 yards and returned two punts for 18 yards in the Buccaneers' 30-24 overtime loss to Kansas City on Monday.

Spin: The second-year wideout generated modest production despite a 49 percent snap share in the absence of Mike Evans (hamstring), Chris Godwin (ankle), and Jalen McMillan (hamstring). Palmer did record both of his catches on a game-tying drive late in the fourth quarter, but Monday's 33 yards were a season high and he's yet to top three receptions in any contest heading into a Week 10 home matchup against the 49ers.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Palmer was a solid find by the Buccaneers in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL draft. The Nebraska product quickly earned slot duties between Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, and proceeded to run 433 routes (45th among WRs) during his rookie campaign. Though he was on the field much, Palmer wasn't a fantasy option, having cleared 51 yards and 8.8 fantasy points in only one game (Week 17). The 23 year old has add competition for No. 3 duties this season (third-round rookie Jalen McMillan), which means he likely wouldn't be fantasy viable even if Evans or Godwin were to miss time. Palmer is not worth considering on draft day.
