News: 3 days agoMcMillan brought in one of two targets for 21 yards in the Buccaneers' 20-16 win over the Lions on Sunday.

Spin: The rookie once again managed a 20-plus yard gain on his one reception after recording a 32-yard touchdown grab in Week 1. McMillan logged 37 snaps from scrimmage overall, significantly outpacing Trey Palmer, who was in on just nine plays on offense. McMillan still has plenty of chemistry to develop with Baker Mayfield, but he already seems to have a firm grasp on the No. 3 receiver role and has no shortage of field-stretching ability.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: The Buccaneers took McMillan with the 92nd pick of the 2024 NFL draft. The Washington product had a nice showing at the NFL combine and should emerge as a No. 3 or 4 receiver option for Tampa this season. But with veterans like Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Trey Palmer in front of him on the depth chart, it's hard to imagine McMillan having any kind of breakout campaign as a rookie. It would likely take multiple injuries to aforementioned trio of teammates for McMillan to be worth using in fantasy this season.
