Patriots block Cowboys' punt; rookie N'Keal Harry scores first TD

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Special-teams captain Matthew Slater's strong punt rush against Dallas Cowboys linebacker Joe Thomas helped produce the New England Patriots' third blocked punt of the season late in the first quarter of Sunday's game. The Cowboys had been punting from their own 20, and the Patriots' offense quickly turned it into a touchdown.

Two plays later, quarterback Tom Brady delivered a beautiful, back-shoulder throw to rookie receiver N'Keal Harry in the end zone for a 10-yard score. Harry's 6-foot-4, 225-pound frame makes him an ideal target in the red zone, where the Patriots have been struggling this season.

Harry, the first-round pick from Arizona State, became the 75th player to catch a touchdown pass from Brady, which extends Brady's own record.
